I have used Plitnick for over a year now. They were initially recommended to us by our real estate agent who is also a client. I may have to wait an extra day or two but it’s a smaller family company so I don’t mind. I rather have a small group of reliable technicians that are familiar with my home with just slightly longer waits than shorter wait time with rotating technicians that may or may not be good. They have always pulled through for me when there was an emergency no matter how busy they were. Again, they may not have a massive arsenal of technicians like bigger “beehive”companies do but the ones that they do have are excellent and extremely knowledgeable. They know what they are doing and never try to upsell me. I find their prices to be competitive as well. I highly recommend them.

Just had the most fantastic experience. The work on my Navien system was done quickly and efficiently, pricing was very good and the customer service through and through was fantastic. Honest, open and effective. Support your local businesses they are so much better than the large corporations

I called because my boiler wasn't working and they tell me I'm "not on auto-delivery" and that's why I ran out of oil. They come to "fix" the problem. The man tells me to "sign here" showing that they've completed the work and that I'll get an invoice. The following morning I get an invoice for $1,100 with my signature on it agreeing to pay the fees. After several conversations with their team about pricing and service moving forward I inform one of their associates via phone that I am switching services and I'm not moving forward with their service contract and oil delivery service. Fast forward to yesterday they came and filled up my tank ... because I was apparently on "auto-delivery" and now they want payment for the oil. So it appears that I'm ON auto-delivery when they want to deliver me oil, and I'm NOT ON auto-delivery if the boiler runs out of oil.

I had been a Plitnick customer for over 10 years. However the quality of service has definitely gone down. I recently had a new HVAC furnace installed and it took three trips before they got it right. The last straw was a new humidistat for my humidifier. I mistakenly had it installed in the summer when it is not used. In the fall I had the furnace maintained and was assured that the humidifier /humidstat was working properly. It was not. I had a service call to check it, but It never worked properly. And now I can’t get them to return my calls. So I have no choice but to go elsewhere. Use them if you must, but don’t pay for anything until you see it working.

Can’t speak to anything beyond their oil delivery, but really superb customer service. We ran out of oil and between calling them and arrival, it was less than 45 minutes. Responsive and quick. Highly recommend!

Overpriced services, slow motions. Asked for an estimate and after a week finally received one that came to be twice as high compare to other HVAC guys are asking. Be cautious...

These Folks are heros to my family. I had a clog in the Blower Unit to my A/C system located in the attic which caused the pan it's on top of to overfill and flood into my kitchen below. I tried calling several other companies and they all could not come out to see us for weeks despite the emergency situation. Plitnick sent someone right away to help us on the same day. The service was quick, professional and reasonably priced. We will continue to use their services in the future and highly recommend them to anyone.
